This is our most comprehensive pet test, offering a complete look at your pet’s well-being with a simple hair sample. It checks for food intolerances, environmental and heavy metal sensitivities, and nutrient absorption problems, since these issues often overlap and contribute to symptoms at the same time.

Do you feed your pet gently cooked, freshly made food? Or a raw diet inspired by ancestral eating patterns? This intolerance test offers insight to pet parents gently cooking fresh food at home, feeding a raw diet, or rotating between both. The way an ingredient is processed changes the way the body may respond to it. Using a hair sample from your dog or cat, we can receive feedback on how severe of a response occurs upon exposure to 455+ items potentially found in their bowl. If you do not feed commercially prepared pet food, this test is the one for you.

The Pet Food Intolerance and Environmental Sensitivity Test is made for pets on kibble or commercial diets to help you figure out what might be causing their symptoms. With just a small fur sample, it looks at how your pet responds to 950+ pet food ingredients like proteins, grains, additives, and preservatives, plus 310+ environmental items including pollen, grasses, animal dander, and cleaning agents that can be found in and around your home. The results help you uncover which foods or environmental triggers may be connected to issues like itching, paw licking, digestive problems, or behavior changes, so you can make simple changes that support their health and happiness.

Are you feeding kibble, supplements, or commercially prepared treats? This Pet Food Intolerance Test was created to help give your dog or cat a voice about which ingredients in their daily diet may be contributing to ongoing discomfort. When their gut microbiome has difficulty breaking down certain foods, due to frequent exposure, preparation, or a true intolerance, signs like scratching, loose stool, paw licking, head shaking, or even behavioral issues can show up over time.

Every pet processes nutrients differently, and even a balanced diet might not meet their health needs. The Pet Nutritional Imbalance Test uses a small hair sample to measure 130+ key vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, and omegas to see if your pet may be experiencing absorption issues. Imbalances can happen when your pet struggles to absorb nutrients, gets too much of certain vitamins or minerals, or when their diet doesn't match their specific requirements.

Constant itching, watery eyes, paw chewing, and hot spots are often signs of environmental sensitivities in pets caused by everyday exposures like grass, pollen, cleaning products, synthetic fabrics, and plastics. The 5Strands Pet Environmental Sensitivity Test uses a small fur sample to measure how your pet's body responds to 310+ common indoor and outdoor items by detecting energetic imbalances that may be contributing to their symptoms.
